Battlefield High School Freshman Nick M. has played Club-level soccer for some time, and recently moved to a new team with the Herndon Youth Soccer Club. As with any athlete trying to transition to a new team, it’s essential to prove yourself to both the coaches and your new teammates. Nick set out to do just that with his new team, and within two weeks of joining the team, earned a starting position as center fullback – a position he has never played before!
Nick has trained at Next Level for about a year and according Nick’s dad Scott: “It was obvious the strength and speed training Nick received at Next Level was making a real difference in his game and in his new position. His strength on the ball and first step were far better than they were just months earlier.”
AND, THIS JUST IN! Nick earned a much-coveted spot on the Battlefield High School JV Soccer team! Way to go, Nick! Scott pointed out to the Next Level staff that “Nick was up against a lot of other athletes, including upperclassmen. I credit this to the months of work, and the strength and speed improvement he gained at Next Level.”
Athletes like Nick are finding that augmenting their sport-specific training with Athlete Performance can not only markedly improve an athlete’s game, but help prevent injury as well.
