Junior Olympics Runner Trains at Next Level
Daniel C., a student at Reagan Middle School, has already made his mark on the local cross country and track circuit. In fact, last summer he finished a close second at the Junior Olympic Virginia Association Meet, which qualified him for the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships. Not only does he frequently earn points for his school team, Daniel regularly posts wins for the Fairfax Police Youth Club’s Cross Country team. “I won every one of my FPYX races except one – I got lost on the course!”
Like many avid athletes, Daniel experienced a knee injury and sought treatment. In addition to special exercises prescribed by his doctor, Daniel continued strength training at Next Level. Daniel points out that he likes training at Next Level because the trainers can adjust a workout to accommodate an injury or physical limitation while still ensuring a good workout.
“Next Level took care of my strength workouts and made sure that my muscles were strong to keep running. Runners are supposed to get in a few strength workouts each week; this is exactly what Next Level gave me. Next Level Fitness is a great way to get into shape, maintain your weight, and gain muscle/fitness. I worked with their excellent trainers who did a great job of helping me do what I needed to do to become a better runner. “
