This quick and easy recipe is sugar- and preservative-free and full of antioxidant-rich cranberries and apples.
Serves: 6 to 8
Ingredients:
4 pounds (approximately 12) apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
1 cup cranberries
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Add apples and cranberries to the Crock Pot and pour water over top. Place lid on Crock Pot. Turn heat to low and cook for 6 hours. Remove lid and stir to break up apples and cranberries that may still be in large pieces. Serve as is, or use a stick blender (or regular blender) to smooth it out.
